These terms govern your use of the AFRIKARS website and services (the "Platform"). AFRIKARS helps buyers find, evaluate, and import vehicles from overseas markets, and connects buyers with sellers and service providers. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms.
Service availability
We are rolling out the Platform in stages. Some features — including buying, selling, and payment flows — may not yet be available to your account or in your region, and we may add, change, or withdraw features as the Platform develops. We will make transaction features available to you when they are ready; until then, related actions may be limited to previews. Nothing on the Platform is an offer capable of acceptance unless it is presented to you as a live, confirmable transaction.
Information on the Platform
Vehicle listings, cost calculations, duty and shipping estimates, and dealer details are provided to help you plan and are estimates that can change. Availability, specifications, and pricing are sourced from third parties and are not guaranteed. Please verify the details that matter to you before relying on them.
Fees and costs
Amounts shown before you commit — vehicle price, service fees, duties, and shipping — are estimates. The amount you are asked to pay for a specific purchase is confirmed to you at the point you commit to that purchase, and that confirmed amount is what applies.
Free-shipping eligibility
The "first 100 buyers get $1,500 in free shipping" offer applies to the first 100 real, completed transactions once the feature is live, in order. Sign-up order does not determine eligibility. Your eligibility is recorded based on completed verification + buyer profile, but is only honored on your first real purchase. We reserve the right to modify or end this offer with reasonable notice to anyone affected.
Account use
- You are responsible for keeping your password and account secure.
- You will provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You will not use AFRIKARS for any unlawful purpose.
- You will not attempt to disrupt, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service.
- We may suspend or close accounts that appear fraudulent or that violate these terms.
Dealer applications
Dealer applications are reviewed manually. Approval is at our discretion. Founding dealer benefits apply to dealers approved before public launch.
Terms still being finalized
Ahead of transactions going live, we are finalizing the remaining terms with legal counsel — including how funds are handled, warranties, our and your responsibilities and liability, refunds and cancellations, the law that governs these terms, and how disputes are resolved. We will publish those terms and notify registered users before they take effect. Your continued use after that notice will be subject to them.
Changes
We may update these terms as the Platform develops. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
